Phone e-Wallets for all!!

What the folks over in Japan are enjoying since years are we may also getting now. The GSM Association is on behalve to get everyone together for a global e-Wallet standard. You read it, it’s for global! Until now, they got carriers AT&T, NTT DoCoMo, Vodafone, and KTF (say US, Japan, Europe and South Korea) and manufacturer’s Nokia, Samsung, and LG for their initiative. Intersting thingy here, one of the global players, NTT DoCoMo, who’s using its FeliCa based Osaifu-Keitai at the time being is also in the camp. So, paying tickets for train, cinema, food and other services, will at least come to europe. As soon as this will be available, count me on!
