There we have it. Today Apple officially announced the next iPhone generation with 3G UMTS/HSDPA and GPS (A-GPS) support. This new version comes with a glossy black back plate, the same 3.5 inch multi-touch screen, a headphone jack mounted flush with the enclosure. The new iPhone comes in 8GB and 16GB flavors with the latter one in a special white backplate edition. 

The iPhone 3G will cost you either 199$ for the 8GB model, or 299$ for the 16GB model. It will be available to 70 countries around the world in the next serveral months.

Zojirushi comes up with a new gadget, the i-Pot CV-DA22, a hot water supply, as we all know it and love it. But this new model has wireless capabilities. If you are going out of home, just push a designated button on the machine, and you can track the usage of the supply from your mobile phone when you’re on the road. This can be especially very handy for parents and old folks. Nice one, Zoji!! Now, where the rice cooker with wireless capabilites and remote control (or is there already one)??

Not long ago, they predicted it and now they showing it. Japanese notebook manufacturers are now responding to Apple’s new ultra portable notebook, the Macbook Air. Frontier lets loose the FRLN. The notebook comes packed with a 12.1 inch wide, WXGA screen (1280×800) panel, 1GB RAM, 80GB harddrive, 802.11a/b/g WIFI, 4 in 1 multicard reader, integrated speakers, ethernet and a pair of USB ports. The FRLN weighs 2.83 pounds or around 1.28 kilograms. Not bad, if it wasn’t the processor, a 800MHz Intel A110, that is not cutting the edge on this machine.

NTT Docomo let loose today the P905iTV handset. This version comes with a 1Seg TV-Tuner prior to the old P905i series. The phone also features a PEAKS engine powered 3.5″ screen sporting a 854×480 pixel resolution, the usual 3G/Word Wing, GPS, 1GB built-in memory and a 2 megapixel cam with autofocus. The P905iTV is also DCMX iD friendly.

This is Sega Toy’s new Yume Neko. A furry little robotic cat, introduced at the Tokyo Toy Forum this week. It’s cute (kind of), it reacts, and it speaks. And it speaks like a japanese porn star. This thing moans after your scratches and strokes. And if you’re good, it tells you it wants more like: “Give me more, give me more” or “Pet me softly”.
