4 Jun. 2008

Mac OSX 10.6 Leopard

With all the fuss about a new 3G iPhone to be announced at the WWDC this year, there is a new rumor spreading that Jobs & Co. might show off a demo of the next iteration of the Mac operating system, namely OS X 10.6. With the three major tracks being announced earlier this year, of which one of the three is Developing for Mac, there could be a good chance that we see a sneak peak of the new system version.

By the way, TUAW is promising that Mac OS X 10.6 shall go Gold Master at the end of this year, and go public on January 2009.

18 Mar. 2008

Apple today released Safari 3.1 for Mac and Windows to the public. Amongst numerous bug and compatibility fixes, there is a new option available in the Safari preferences called Develop menu. When activated, there comes up a new menu bar item called Develop with features like Webinspector, Network timeline, edit CSS in place, custom user agent strings, improved snippet editor and others. A really really nice feature that I’ve waited for to be available in Safari.

Go here for the complete list of updates and bug fixes.

Safari 3.1 is available now for Macintosh and Safari.
